‘The Color of God’ child actor after 20 years

Majid Majidi’s masterpiece ‘The Color of God’ has visually impaired child actor starring in the award-winning title. 

Here is the child actor starring in ‘The Color of God’ 20 years after Majid Majidi’s masterpiece made in 1990.

In an interview with the actor who was acclaimed at Fajr Film Festival in Iran for the ifilm-aired movie, Mohsen Ramezani is seen again after his debut appearance in 1999.

In the interview, he said, “I felt God in my life in many occasions,” reminding us of his famous dialogue in ‘The Color of God’ along the same note.  

The film follows a young blind boy who comes home from boarding school to spend summer break with his family. For him it is just returning to everything he cares about, like his grandmother, sister and the natural life of home. However, his father is finding his son's disability too much to bear.

Majid Majidi’s feature film followed his Oscar-nominated ‘Children of Heaven’. In this film, Majidi “demonstrates his ability to express in cinematic terms some of the deep stirrings we have about life,” a rave review concludes.
